I'm working on a little mini series for my historical processes class using my hasselblad. Rebecca, (who is really a fantastic photographer) was kind enough to do a shoot with me yesterday. Here are some of the digitals I took in between the hasselblad shots.

Field Trip
Went on a field trip today for class to use the large format cameras. 4x6, 7x17, and an 8x10 were involved...woo! I brought along my Hasselblad and took this shot of Melissa setting up the 8x10 camera, the camera itself is a piece of art.
(it was a fun day).

Baby Holga
I picked up this little gem at the DI in Idaho falls, and when I bought it I figured it was a 35 mm holga, but the name holga isn't anywhere on the camera. Turns out there is no vignetting, but still a really neat camera, and I have fun with it. It's lightweight so I carry it around with me.
Here are some fun little shapshots I got with it while in Utah, and some in Rexburg too of course. I didn't do any editing, I kind of like what the camera gave me.

Paul Mitchell Shoot
These are few of my favorites from the shoot I did last week for Paul Mitchell.
They aren't my typical style, but they aren't portfolio pieces for me, they're for the student's portfolio, so I tried my best to take pictures in the style of the model and what the client was asking for.

Melissa
During historical processes class melissa and I decided to go out and take some pictures of each other, since we were both needing some new material to work with. So we went to the old craigos and did a little impromptu shoot. I got a couple good ones, and I made this first one into a kalliotype today (I'll upload that later when I have it scanned in).

Pinocchio
I've been working on a series for my Photo III class using a 4x5 large format camera. I have been asking some of my friends to dress up like Disney characters. This has been a learning experience, I've been shooting indoors and some of the photos haven't turned out like I wanted. However, I am really happy with this shoot, and Brady makes such a great little Pinocchio.
