Chalkboard

It's been really nice getting to know Nicole & Tony, we haven't lived in Seattle long, and all of our friends live at least a half hour away. These two live just one neighborhood over in Queen Anne, which is just a stone's throw away from us (is that a phrase?). They had a chalkboard theme for their wedding back in August, so this shoot was just perfect for these two lovebirds.

For the first part of the shoot, I had them write down a bunch of words that described them as a couple, places they've been or they're favorite food, ect. I put all the words on this chalkboard Seth and I painted and the rest is history.

Travis & Jaqui

We knew Travis and Jaqui a little back in Rexburg, and since moving out here we've been able to get know them a little better and it has been delightful, especially since we are getting used to a new city and have left most of our friends and family behind. Travis and Jaqui are extremely talented photographers, so we decided to spend a day shooting each other. Seth and I haven't had pictures taken of us since our wedding (almost 3 years ago!), so were happy to have it done by this talented duo. See their website here.

I shot them in my studio, using a damask background and a snow set I made.

Amy & Daniel Berry

I was so excited when Amy & Daniel contacted me a few months ago about this shoot. They saw my BFA show and wanted a little set of their own. I'm so glad we were able to work this out and I hope to be doing more of these kinds of shoots in the future.
