While I was in Salt Lake I spent a lot of time with my little sister Annie, she has been asking me for a really long time to take photos of her, I had a few things planned for the shoot that didn't work out, so last minute I decided to go for a laid back, street style photo shoot. These were taken in the Avenues in Salt Lake.

Michelle
I finally took my 4x5 camera out for a test shoot. I only shot these first two images with it, the other two are 35mm. I bought all color film but I was not liking the colors at all on any of the film I shot that day, so I switched them to black and white. Which is a bit frustrating considering the color film is more expensive to buy and develop. Well, what can you do?

You can take the boy out of Idaho...
Seth and I returned to sentimental rexburg after a 3 month stay in Europe and a fortnight in Salt Lake City. We stayed with his parents, were fed daily and spoiled just a bit, we saw friends, and Seth graduated. To celebrate this and leaving the great state of Idaho we decided to take some graudation pictures in what else but a real Rexburg Idahoan field.

Christa
Christa, fellow photography student, asked me to take her graduation photos about a year ago, so I was glad I happened to be in Rexburg for a couple weeks before graduation took place. It was so nice getting out there and shooting some portraits again, haven't done that in a while and it was just what I needed.
These first four were shot with my hasselblad, the rest are digital.

Impromptu shoot with Melissa
Melissa is showing her BFA this semester, in just 3 weeks (as is Seth! It will be a killer show to say the least) and her series is all about color, so she wanted a picture of her with, well, colors! We only needed this one shot but the location (Ard's glass) was so cute I took a few more.
